How to Volunteer
Scenic Mountain Medical Center offers several volunteer opportunities in various departments throughout the hospitals, including joining the Scenic Mountain Medical Center Auxiliary or assisting in the gift shop.

Junior Volunteer Summer Program
Applications are now being accepted for the Scenic Mountain Medical Center Junior Volunteer Summer Program.
This eight week program is for students 14 years of age by June 1 and no older 18 years of age.
Accepted applicants will be required to attend a mandatory orientation on June 12, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM as well as submit to a TB Skin Check and Urine Analysis.
Volunteers serve a minimum of thirty two (32) hours during the eight week program Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:15AM-4:45 PM. Hours will count toward Texas Scholar Hours.
Volunteers will be assisting in hospital departments with a variety of tasks that will support patients, visitors and staff.
